One of the first questions we will ask you is what size of card/ property you want to display.
If you haven’t thought about this we would ask that you think about this straight away.
The size of your property card will determine the size and layout of your display. You may even have a requirement to mix the sizes of your property cards, for example, and, of course, we would need to know about this .
The next question we would likely ask would be to find out if you had any ideas about the kind of display you would like; you may well have had no time to think about this, and want to rely on our advice.
Alternatively, you may have a fair idea of the kind of display you want.: for example, you may like a display with a timber theme, or even a chrome and timber together theme. Have you thought about combining chrome with brass, a timeless and highly professional, attractive look. If your office has a traditional timber theme, for example, we would recommend using brass finish components to complement the timber look.
If you are of the former category, and are looking for some help on this, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we can discuss your needs in detail and find a solution which will meet all of your requirements.
Below is a list of some basic ideas and tips which you may find useful in establishing what kind of display you need to meet your requirements:
1). Small windows? The new digital LCD screen can allow you to market your company as well as your clients’ properties while only using a small amount of space in the window area. Use it to market it your services, and guarantee interest by movement in the window.
Other ways of maximising small window areas include such things as “staggering” or “zig-zagging” displays, which increases the number of cards displayed within an attractive design.
2). Concerned about fixings in the window area for displays and lighting? Look at our free-standing section for ideas. Alternatively, contact us to discuss any issues.
3). Trying to attract more attention to your premises from passing trade? Lighting is not only useful for illumination. It brightens a display and makes it more attractive; it tells customers that you are open for business and creates a warmer, more welcoming atmosphere, and a professional feel.
4). Unsure of what card size to use? Currently, many agents are opting for landscape cards rather than portrait, particularly A4 Landscape. For the more upmarket properties A3 Landscape is the preferred choice. We can help you to combine various sizes of property card where required within an attractive design. Bear in mind too, that an A3 Landscape card holder can also hold 2 x A4 Portrait cards side by side; similarly, an A4 Landscape card can hold 2 x A5 Portrait cards side x side.
5). Problems with signage? If your premises does not lend itself well to external signage (you may be located in a shopping centre for example) then graphics can easily be incorporated into your display.
6). Self Service can be useful for undermanned offices. Use literature dispensers in your displays to allow customers to help themselves to property particulars.
7). Think about your displays at an early stage in your refurbishment. Invisible supports behind behind the plasterboard wall ensure the display will continue to look good - and stay up!
8). Cluttering walls with notice boards is too "office-like" and old hat. Our clear wall displays should be minimalist but off the wall to add dimension.
9). Displays set back from the windows may not be legible in respect of the fine detail but they will get people inside!
10). Corporate image, colours and shape will show you are a serious contender in the estate agents business (anyone can stick some cards in a window).
11). Dividing your displays into sections avoids an overcrowded look and helps viewers focus. It also creates a more welcoming environment to help encourage potential customers to come inside.
Whatever your situation, our expertise can ensure that your requirements are met with an attractive and professional design. Please contact us to discuss your requirements, and we will be happy to advise.
